  Had a table booked on a Saturday afternoon a few weeks ago. Restaurant and terrace were busy as weather was unexpectedly warm. Took half an hour to order some drinks, then another half hour to order food. 90 minutes after arriving we had no sight of our starters, when we asked the waiter he couldn't commit to how much longer it was going to take. 2 hours after arriving and still with nothing to eat we decided to cancel our order and go elsewhere. Very disappointing.

  It's different from any other restaurant in the area but it could do with a face-lift . Menu's varied, food's good but could be better. I'll certainly return.

  Pleasant view over the marshes at the end of a quiet lane. Good service from the young woman in charge and very good lunchtime sandwiches (prawn and salmon, and minute steak).
